Well, I just finished Melusine tonight. I didn't really enjoy the beginning of the book -- as one of the reviewers said, we don't see what Felix has, so seeing him lose everything doesn't mean much. However, once Malwhatshisface was out of the picture (more or less), I started enjoying it a lot more. I noted the Nightrunners vibe that another reviewer mentioned, but I didn't think Melusine was at all derivative of it. (Strangely enough, I _did_ think Luck in the Shadows was derivative of something, but damned if I could figure out what it was.)

I'm definitely looking forward to a re-read, and then finding out what happens next. :-)
