I am glad to have Joshua Rifkin's recording of Scott Joplin's piano rags. Because they (Joplin as composer and Rifkin as performer) are so damn good. And they are helping me get through this revision pass without actually starting to weep blood into my keyboard. And that would just be gross.
And to those of you who have answered my rhetorical terminology question, I say, as the characters say in one of my very favorite children's books, Jay Williams' The King with Six Friends: Many thanks, stranger.
