My reasons are much the same as orangemike's, save for the book reviews. I'm a writer myself, and I also keep seeing you on the friends lists of mutual friends who are writers. Most of my writing these days, alas, is in the food line, rather than the fiction one. One of these days, I'll get back to my novel, rather than just getting my apartment unpacked and boiling the pot.
