Okay, growing up in DC -- where the annual panda watch can sometimes bump national budget battles off the top headline spot of the Post -- seeing 16 of the little black-and-whites makes my brain go into overdrive meltdown. Icons cannot convey the squeeness of them all.
Sixteen pandas lie On white towels* in Wolong. In the name of love.
--- *My idiolect makes 'towels' about a syllable and a half (it rhymes with 'howls'). For haiku purposes, and because I don't want another syllable in that line, I'm calling it two.
Very cute! After I posted in my LJ, thespian pointed out panda cam (http://nationalzoo.si.edu/Animals/GiantPandas/default.cfm?cam=LP2)! Just one adult, but he's walking around real-time. If you don't see him on this cam (cam 2), try cam 1.
