My question is, were the shellfish populations sufficient in the past to support the otters? If the shellfish population, that if I'm understanding matters properly used to be sufficient to sustain many more otters than it is now, is now dropping, is it due to the otters or to overfarming by the humans...who are now trying to blame the otters?
