The CEM* of The Virtu has arrived.

Unfortunately, since I am not a cat, the time-honored tradition of Hiding Until It Goes Away will not work.

Perhaps you have not hidden in the right place. Have you tried under the kitchen table? Monkeys only sometimes think to look there.

This made me smile, because it's always my reaction too.

Mine is more like chasing a mouse from the kitchen with the broom.

OMG GET IT OUT!

I'd offer to do it for you, but you probably wouldn't like the results...

Waaaaaaant.

You did a lovely job on the first book, by the way. Rich, detailed worldbuilding and a genuine sense of tragedy.

Thank you!

Oh, and I meant to say--[livejournal.com profile] matociquala pointed me to your comment about Mélusine's underworld, and I wanted to say, YES! YES! YES! That was exactly what I was trying to do. So thank you for that, as well.

Just a quick note to say that I just finished Melusine and adored it. It's the type of ornate, decadent fantasy that I love, and your voices are really convincing.

Homoeroticism is always appreciated.

Well as the title says I was just passing by a bookstore and couldn't resist getting a few new books as the unread half of my collection was getting a bit low and I stumbled across you novel Mélusine.

I have to say that your style of writing is rather different and yet refreshing for being so. Your style seems to give the story more life and more depth and understanding to readers such as myself. Needless to say you are a very talented writer and it is always nice to see fresh new talents in the fantasy novel department, being as it is one of my favorites.

Actually I was hoping that, if you weren't too busy, you could perhaps drop me a line sometimes, as I think it would be quite interesting to carry on a correspondance with you. Please do think about it.
