Well, you know. This is not, in the grand scheme of things, a terribly big deal. But it does make me happy.

Totally off-topic

I am pretty sure you once wrote a long post on Venetia. Do you have any idea where it is? I can't find it in your memories or via a search engine, and I'd really like to read it now that I read the novel and loved it so much that it is now tied with Cotillion for my favorite Heyer.

Um. Maybe this one (http://truepenny.livejournal.com/233989.html)? About Hester Stanhope in Venetia and Laura Kinsale's The Dream Hunters.

I mostly post about Heyer in terms of other writers, so if that's not it, it might be in a post about Dorothy L. Sayers (those posts are tagged here (http://www.livejournal.com/users/truepenny/tag/dls)) or Lois McMaster Bujold. Or I think at one point Venetia came up in a discussion of comedy of manners, but I'm not sure where that is, either.

If none of that comes up with what you're looking for, let me know, and I'll rack my brains for other topics it might be in context of. I love Venetia madly, so I do kind of tend to talk about it a lot.

Whoo! Congrats!

I have a friend who wants a grand piano one day. When he does, I hope he gets as much joy out of it as you get from yours.

*hugs*

A bluthner? A BLUTHNER you say? I, the stranger completely hate you. The folks over at the www.pianoworld.com forum would welcome you posting pictures of it when it arrives.
