The mail today brought me the page proofs for the paperback of Mélusine (which will be out in July). I'll be going through them looking for typos (I know of one so far, on p. 9), but I have read this book ... I don't even KNOW how many times, and familiarity may or may not breed contempt, but it sure does breed blindness.
So I'm asking--though please note I don't imagine any OBLIGATION on y'all's parts. I'm just playing the odds. If you've read Mélusine and you happened to notice a typo--or typos--could you kindly leave a comment to tell me about it?
I'm playing way too much Civilization IV these days. There are many things I love about this version of the game, but far and away the best of them is Leonard Nimoy. Civilization advances come with pithy little quotes, and somehow or another, they got Leonard Nimoy to read the quotes for them. This will never not delight me down to the core of my soul.

Date: 2006-02-08 05:16 am (UTC)(I fold over the bottom corner of the page a little whenever I notice a typo, and that's the only page I've got marked, so either I was having a serious off-week for nitpicking, or it was a really clean book. I have one or two where the foldies are really thick until about halfway through, and then just stop, because my fingers got tired.)
And now I'll just say that I love your book and it is awesome.
