The Second Son: 547 words

Reason for stopping: Need to know Mordred's Tube station. Also, go to bed already, dingbat.

Other work: Subbed a story. Scheduled doctor's appointments.

Other news: W. B. Yeats? Mad as a fish, my lovelies. Mad. As. A. Fish.

Yeats did have his saner moments. In which he was almost as sane as William Blake.

Not that I disagree with you about Yeats. But how mad is a fish? More or less mad than a box of frogs? ;)

Is a fish madder or less mad than a box of frogs?

Is it a red herring?

If it is a herring, and red, is it made so with rose madder?

If so, is a fish less mad than a rose?

Also, is that why Maude is Gonne?

Anybody who keeps picking fights with Crowley is mad as something. I mean, let's face it. Aleister is fun at parties. But talking to him is like TALKING TO THE WALL.

(oo! 19th century livejournal drama! Yay!)

I'm sure there's a reason Mordred doesn't get off at Orkney... possibly he's avoiding his mother?

I think it depends on the fish.

Have you figured out his tube station?

Just curious.

[identity profile] truepenny.livejournal.com 2006-04-04 02:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Not yet.

It doesn't help that this isn't actually London. It's The Faerie Queene crossed with T. S. Eliot.

I believe there's a list of tube stops for the Unreal City in Burnt Norton, hrm, Hampstead and Clerkenwell, Camden and Putney, Highgate, ...somewhere... and Ludgate. Medraut's would be Ludgate, or whatsit & Ludgate I'd guess, -- let's check whatsit -- oh, Primrose, yes, that's change at Primrose & Ludgate for Llew's Gate, Tower Hill and the place where Arthur unearthed Bran's head.

Moorgate is a real tube stop.

I had not known death had undone so many.
