When I was small, my school took us all on a field trip to Milwaukee's science museum. Which is very neat for many reasons; but for years the only thing that stuck was that they sold flytraps in the gift shop! I hadn't brought enough money, so one of my classmates lorded it over the rest of us for WEEKS, bringing hers to school and feeding it tiny lumps of hamburger in front of us.
