I am having a big bad case of the two-year-old DON'WANNAs today. I need to write Felix's new scene in Chapter 7 (I even know what it is), and I have six (count 'em, 6) short stories that should get off their butts and start pounding the pavement again.

And yet? DON'WANNA.

I whipped through this one about as fast as I whipped through His Majesty's Dragon, and with much the same reaction. I couldn't write a book like this, but I'm very grateful that naominovik can.

I liked the first two, but I'm having trouble finishing the third book. I keep forgetting and leaving it at work.

It's summer again here, too, but that's a good thing. Hot and dry feels good -- unlike just-as-hot and muggy.
