Because I know you were all absolutely breathless with anticipation.

Multitudinous thanks to the people who kindly offered to give me various bottles of ink--I decided I should be brave and valiant and try something new. So I have ordered two bottles of Noodler's Ink (because [livejournal.com profile] mirrorthaw pointed out, in the spirit of Alexander, that I didn't have to choose just one, and thus cut the Gordian knot of my dithering), one Forest Green and one La Coleuer* Royale (which Fountain Pen Hospital lists as "Couleur Purple," making me feel like I've wandered into a very strange French adaptation of Alice Walker--enacted, presumably, by fountain pens).

I will report back when they've arrived and I've had a chance to experiment.

*Yes, I know that's not how "color" is spelled in French.

Would fountain pens kissing be enough to get a book banned?

Couldn't resist....

The prospect of any piece of theatre enacted by fountain pens makes me giggle. Although I now want a bottle of purple ink for no particular reason...
