Get well soon! I've just read both your books and quite enjoyed them, especially when read immediately back to back. This is worth plenty of "get well soon" points, which can't hurt in the overall scheme of things.
I'll just have to delurk for a moment to wonder about that (oh, and to offer belated congratulations regarding the completion of The Mirador, now much anticipated). Surely I can't be entirely alone in preferring Felix, can I? :)
My fiance will surely take this as a sign of my peculiar (twisted?) tastes, though. ;) As I noted in the review, he prefers Mildmay, though he did like Felix a bit better in The Virtu, which he finished a few days after me.
There's certainly no denying that Felix has some serious flaws to contend with, but since we get his point of view and what's going on in his head, I find that he primarily comes across as quite vulnerable. Probably someone you'd want to punch IRL, though, unless he made the effort to charm you off your feet just for fun.
