Feb. 24th, 2007 06:45 pmI just fell over the end of Chapter 4, more or less by accident. And I know the first line of Chapter 5: The foreigner was crazy. There was no other explanation.
I am a mean and horrible author and why any of these characters show up to work for me, much less on a daily basis, is really kind of a mystery.
Maybe I pay well?
Chapter 4: 10,105 words, making 29,793 words total thus far. Which is some paltry and insignificant percentage of the 175,000 words I need to write, but it still beats the hell out of nothing.
Excelsior!

Date: 2007-02-26 03:07 pm (UTC)I think Mehitabel Parr does it for the sake of 1) getting good lines 2) a better part than she's had so far, with leading-lady potential and 3) really good sex. Kolkhis is aware how few decent roles there are for women her age., and this one includes sex, at least in flashbacks.
Stepehn Teverius knows that his job sucks anyway, so nothing you do really shocks him. He doesn't have to like it, so he's cool. Thaddeus just thinks that everything that happens demonstrates he was right all along.
