MIRRORTHAW: Of course they are. It's one of your books. Now, if everybody has a really bad day and then the world blows up . . .

MIRRORTHAW AND TRUEPENNY: [in chorus] . . . it's one of Bear's books.

This worked particularly well because I'm in the middle of The Virtu. It kind of bugs me how I can be having a good time when the characters really just aren't. I think it's the prose. They don't get that, at the time.
