Bossycat does not approve of insomnia.

Yes, I've noticed that among the things cats are most intolerant of (and they're a pretty narrow-minded species) human insomnia is right up there. It's probably because it's inconvenient for them--they're never broad-minded about anything that's inconvenient for them. Besides, how can any species that can count on 20 hours of sleep a day begin to grasp even the idea of insomnia?

I hope this was a one-night episode.

So agree! I was up to 4am and my cat woke me up at 7:30! Now I'm wide awake! Grrr!
