Dragged down and stupid today for Boring Health Reasons. [I won't show you mine if you won't show me yours, kthnx.] So have some links to people being entertaining.

I love Mely when she's cranky.

Also, for anyone who hasn't seen it already, dog + sweet potatoes = NWS because you will scare your co-workers with your howls of laughter*.

I saw that yesterday, and read through the link in the comments regardings dogs in elk as well....

Oh.my.

It's a good thing I work from home. I think my co-workers would have called security, had I been laughing like that in the office.

In other news....I am about 4 chapters into The Virtu, and experiencing much Felix & Mildmay love. Only problem is that I would dearly love about a day of uninterrupted time so I can stop having to put it down just as I get completely engrossed! Oh for the days pre-marriage and pre-parenthood.

Hi, just wanted to offer thanks for a great post you wrote... er... well over a year ago, actually! I've been checking back through some of your writing-related entries and one from March '06 (Louder and weirder) makes fantastic reading. And, even more importantly, one line (taken completely out of context, mind) thankfully brought back a forgotten dream from last night, where I woke up excited about a *huge* change of direction for my novel-in-progress, then promptly went back to sleep and forgot all about it. Until I read an old post on your blog... So, yeah, in a roundabout sort of way - cheers!

Dogs in Elk was the last one to get me to scare my coworkers with evil laughter.

I literally hurt myself laughing at the Sweet Potatoes link. Thank you.

Sweet Potato Dog is right up there with Dogs in Elk. When I read it yesterday I had to stop and wipe away the laughter tears several times, and for the rest of the day kept sliding back into giggles whenever I happened to have a reason to think about either dogs or sweet potatoes, because when I thought of one, I thought of both and lost it.
