Poor Mildmay.
That's got to be a hard lesson to learn from family you haven't know for most of your life (it's a pain to deal with with family you grow up with, that's for sure.)
But hey, there's always the option of returning the favor and pushing buttons back...but maybe that's not such a good idea.

Usually family knows how to push your buttons because they *installed* your buttons. I'm not sure how that works for Mildmay.
