Alert readers report sightings of The Mirador in the wild. (Unless you are Harry Potter, bookstores tend to be a little laissez-faire about release dates. So this is delightful, but not surprising.)
Am waiting with bated breath. Bated I tell you. (But probably won't investigate before the official release date because I'm going to the cottage for the long weekend.)
I work at a Barnes and Noble in S. Florida. I ordered mine in advance months ago, and it came in on July 29th. MUAHAHAHAHA!! *cough* I'm LOVING it so far!
Got my copy yesterday and am still re-read the first four chapters. I'm glad I did this as I forgot most of plot! It's sooo good. Much better then Harry Potter. And I was waiting for this one more.
Eeee, excellent! Won't be in my bookstore till Baker & Taylor decide they feel like sending our order out (now would be good, guys) but this is awesome news. :D
I was more than impressed to find it yesterday on the "new books" shelf at the public library. Now that's efficiency! The local bookseller hasn't yet got in the copy I ordered, but now I have the library copy to tide me over....
Ah I'm so jealous of everybody who has their copy already! I still have to wait for mine to jump on a plane to Australia from Amazon. Woe! I should have planned a trip to America to co-inside with the book release! ;p
I ordered mine from Amazon on the 30th, and they went ahead and shipped it right off. Unfortunately, it has to make it across the pond, so I won't see it for a while yet.
I think they need to invent teleportation for these things.
Undying or immortal, yeah. The horses of Achilleus and other horses of divine origins. Horses and mythology are two big interests of mine, so when I couldn't come up with an lj username and a domain name, I decided that Greek or Latin sounded good for a Classics major (though my Greek and Latin are in a state of disrepair), plus it had to have something to do with horses.
Perhaps not the most clever of choices, given that it actually took myself a while to consistently manage to spell my own domain name correctly. ;)
Oh, that's good. I was wondering why my library lent me a book that should have come out nine days later. Needless to mention, I started to giggle rather audibly in front of my library account...Except, now that I'm done with the book, I really, really want to read Summerdown (or what-was-previously-known-as-Summerdown).

Ahem. Excuse me. I mean to say, I'm very pleased to have found a copy.
