Addendum to last time: aside from not being robust, Hellcat, after a while, dwindles to burnt sugar unless you get right up close. The Deep Ones, on the other hand, is like being mugged.
KUMIHO (A sharp, biting blend of crisp white tea and ginger.): Sharp and pleasant. It didn't smell like me, but I enjoyed it.
PRAGUE (Crocus with snowdrop and three lilies.): Floral like whoa. Not my thing.
CALIBAN (The scent of the salty seas, bittersweet wine, palm and tropical ferns.): Sweeter than I like, but interesting and enjoyable (briefly, anyway). The salt starts to come out after a while, and the souvenir de pineapple (it doesn't smell like pineapple, but it makes me think of pineapple) recedes.
OBLIVION (Dark musk, wood spice, labdanum, patchouli, dark African woods, and saffron.): BPAL lagniappe for the win. I didn't pick this one, but I would have if I'd known. Apparently, I really like patchouli. In Oblivion, the patchouli and
Sin is still my #1, but Oblivion is definitely #2.
ETA: Sadly, the astringency fades first, and without it, Oblivion becomes rather sticky-sweet. I smell kind of like baklava. Which is a great smell for a dessert, a less good smell for my person.

Date: 2007-09-16 10:23 pm (UTC)Also? Scheherezade, if you've never tried it. I first fell in love with Judgment because Scheherezade was one of my favorites, and my first thought upon trying Judgment was, "It's like Scheherezade's beautiful and aggressive older brother!" And it's a hell of a lot easier to come by than Judgment, what with it being a GC and all.
