Dear Mole:
When coming up with character names, please remember that there are twenty-six letters in the alphabet. Twenty-five of them are not M.

Reviews. One of A Companion to Wolves, and two (here and here) of The Mirador. I have no sense any longer of what's spoilery and what's not, so click at your own discretion.

Rodents Of Unusual Size? I don't think they exist.

Oh good lord do I share that problem with you -- getting stuck on letters.

I mean, imagine a book with two villains whose names are as close as Saruman and Sauron. it would never sell!

Oh, I too have suffered the plague of the letters. For a good month, everyone's name started with the letter K. And then the next month it was the letter A. It was dreadful- and they weren't even GOOD names.

PS - Dear gods, that is one scary rodent.

Can I ask you a question about a character whose name starts with M?

Why did Methony go to Melusine?

I also have a burning question about Malkar, but I'm more confident of having it answered in Corambis.

Honestly? I don't know.

I don't know very much about Methony. I don't know who either Felix or Mildmay's father was; I don't know why she made any of the choices she did. I know she had a hard life and an ugly death, and she never loved anyone else more than she loved herself.

Raaahhh!! Let Felix learn that damned lesson of love, dammit!
Oh but wait...there's Malkar and his rubies & a scene in a brothel that just doesn't quite fit... ho ho

I've come to think of Felix's and Mildmay's fathers as something like anonymous sperm donors, actually.

I always believed in R.O.U.S.'s!

Taking unfair advantage of her time zone, if you ask me.
