PSA: Foucault & Prine

For people who are fans of John Prine and/or Jeffrey Foucault: Jeff's album of Prine covers, Shoot the Moon Right Between the Eyes, is available for pre-order now and will be out February 17.

And if you're not sure if you're a Prine and/or Foucault fan, there are three songs from the album you can download for free: "Billy the Bum," "The Late John Garfield Blues," and "Storm Windows" (the last of which I have a great deal of trouble not just putting on repeat for like, an hour or two).

Ooh! Thanks! I'll listen to the samples when I don't have two munchkins around to distract me by complaining that I dare to listen to something that's not the Wiggles. I love Prine's lyrics.

Thank you!

I want to know who's playing steel on "The Late John Garfield Blues"! I'll have to get a personnel list from the CD.

You're welcome.

Oh, and thanks for the heads up on the Picadilly notebooks. I bought several while doing Xmas shopping, and they look like they'll be great.

You're welcome as well. I've nearly filled one of their "large" and it still seems a lot less temperamental than Moleskine for ink compatibility.

That's probably Eric Heywood (http://www.ericheywood.com/). He played pedal steel on Foucalut's previous album, Ghost Repeater, and did some tour dates with Jeff as well.
