My office chair is broken.

Seriously. I made that last post, got up to go take a bath. Everything was normal. I come back, and the damn thing tries to dump me on my ass. There wasn't even an ominous cracking noise. It was just gone.

Ouch. The identical thing happened to me last year, only s/tries to dump me/dumps me/. One minute I was fine, the next minute I was on the floor with half a chair.

I still haven't been able to replace the damn thing, either. Seeing as you had better luck with the not-being-dumped-on-ass, I wish you better luck with the replacing as well.
