truepennySo we went out today to buy a new office chair (replacing the one that broke on Monday. We were successful in our hunt, but along the way I must have sat in a dozen different office chairs, ranging from "ooh very nice" to "hello my spine is not a rainbow."
And then there was this one chair, which I sat down in and almost immediately levitated out of, because not only was it uncomfortable on contact, it almost didn't feel like a chair. It felt vaguely hostile, not quite like an anthropophagous alien life form mimicking an office chair but almost.

Needless to say, that is not the chair we bought.
