The story that was published in Lady Churchill's Rosebud Wristlet 11 (making it my only published story thus far) is going to be anthologized. The anthology is called So Fey (the editor* describes it as a collection of queer faery stories), and it'll be out in 2005 from Lethe Press.

I am SO psyched.

*ETA: Co-editor, but the only one I've communicated with.

That is awesome! Congratulations!!! On both publications. Lady Churchill's is something to be proud of in itself.

Congratulations!

Marith: Keen, Truepenny's story is being published in an anthology of queer faery stories titled _So Fey_. *snerk*.

Trip: Could be worse, could be Jewish faery stories.

Henry: Why would that be worse?

Trip: _Oy Fey_.

Garrett: Could be worse. Could be fairy stories about Irish settlers in Africa: _O'Fey_.

Puns! Oh, god, the puns! The unspeakable squamous horrors which the mind of (wo)man was not meant to encompass! Their black miasma hung about me as I struggled desperately toward the adit which would lead me back to the clean bright air of the simple, unambiguous world above. They were small, still, and few in number, and I did indeed escape their loathsome, chitinous claws, scrabbling toward the daylight as their shrill, unearthly cries faded into silence behind me.

But I knew I would be forever tainted.

... now I need to go read H. P. Lovecraft again.

I don't know where that came from, but it was fun to write. Thanks, Marith!
