My scanner has had its Helen-Keller-at-the-pump moment, and can communicate with Annie Sullivan (a.k.a. Genghis the Laptop). Ergo, as promised, the card I drew of the first trump of the Sibylline: The Guide.

(N.b., this is not and never was intended to be more than a rough sketch, which I inked in hastily for scanning purposes.

(Also, for those who are interested in drawing their own cards--or who want to make sense of the whole deck of the Sibylline--I will mention that I prefer Thoth to Rider.* Do with this information what you will.)

---
*ObTrivia: although both decks are popularly and traditionally associated with men (Aleister Crowley and whatsisface Waite), they were both drawn by women.

I too prefer the Thoth deck. What are the Sibylline trumps?

See explanation here (http://truepenny.livejournal.com/652191.html#cutid2).

I think it would be usable as a deck, although I have to admit I've never tried, beyond rigging the readings for my books.

When I slip and call it the Colman Smith deck, no one ever knows what I'm talking about. The ladies get no love!

HI *waves*

I'm new here. I just finished reading The Virtu this morning and I just wanted to let you know that I loved it...and Mélusine! I haven't read books that are so richly character-driven in and evoke so much emotion in....ages. I can't believe I haven't discovered it before now! But I have...and I'm rapt! And...I know Felix is a love/hate character...I love him. He's...complex :)

All the best for the release of Corambis!

BTW, I love the trump card!

So if one were to craft that deck, would they take any extra symbols in the background from the Thoth deck?

The Guide looks a little like Hermit from the Rider deck, though I like the hooded face of the Guide.

I predict you're going to get a Q&A: Sibylline Special Edition out of this, along with a lot of Fan Art.
