Our local ones were monsooned out, but we particularly liked the twirly bubbly ones we saw in the NYC coverage -- before our satellite was also taken out by the downpour.
Last year, we had a downpour on the night the fireworks were supposed to go off, and on the rain day, it looked like rain so they canceled them again. This year, I was lucky enough to see them. ^_^ I still have to plug my ears during the finale (the booms hurt my ears!) but I enjoyed being able to see them this year.
