Really, I don't have anything to add.

I posted that on my LJ and got gay bashed! I'm so mad! It's my LJ and I can post whatever I want and if they don't like it they can rant about it on THEIR LJ. I hate that someone tried to tear down something I found deeply moving and turn it into "I'm promoting the gay agenda and it's overkill."

I'm sure I'll get over it. I tend to hang onto things.

It's such a beautiful and moving speech! I get teary eyed every time I watch it. He deserves hugs and lots of cookies. :)

Hello Cassandraterra-

May the person who bashed you be afflicted with eternal hemorrhoids. Just go listen to Philip again, it'll be all better.

and Ms. Sarah-

A friend of mine pointed me at this a couple days ago. I completely lost it at the Omaha Beach line, and wasn't able to listen to the rest. You tell'em, Grandpa. Show the world how good it can be.

Gives a cynical old misanthrope hope, it does.

It is a very moving speech. I applaud Philip for his eloquent explanation of his beliefs.

Now there's someone not afraid to step up and bring the truth

As for the gaybashers, don't fret over them, they're not real men/women. They're just puffed up on their religious partisan horsecrap, swelled up with their own so-called coolness and bragging about what they did to you with their like-minded pals; because god forbid they hang with anyone who might actually challenge their worldview *snorts* They aren't worth even 1 second of your time girl.

Also, to Ms. Monette, could I have the code to that video? I'd also like to put that up on my LJ
