Another AU Felix & Mildmay dream last night, this one claiming to be an animated series which might aptly be summed up as: "He's a gay wizard with a dark past; he's a cat burglar with a price on his head. Together, they fight crime!"

That describes the books nicely, too. Emphasis on the Dark Past. Those characters are so vivid for me that I can recall scenes from the books even though I only read each one once, only it's the emotional feel inside a character I recall most vividly rather than the setting.

Good writing.

I'd definitely buy that DVD (as I have all of the DoL AFTER getting them from the library, which I almost never do), because your work is simply that awesome.

I would watch the hell out of that.

Hah! That would so work. So who would you want to cast for the voice actors? *g*

Jeremy Brett for Felix, if only he weren't dead.

Someone with a deep, slightly gravelly voice for Mildmay; I can't think of anyone off-hand.

Ron Glass? (Not that I have a huge crush or anything. It's just... okay, I'm not fooling anyone here.)

I just showed this entry to my DoL-equally-obsessed friends and we had an awesome time concluding that you should totally write something on those lines.

I have novel-like dreams very often, and most people think me crazy and weird for it. Hearing that happen to someone else is refreshing. It makes me feel more special and less freakish!

Really want to watch that!
I have told you you could post the foreword here, right?
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Have a fabulous 2010~

I want THAT dream

All I got in my dreams this week was something about Tiger Woods and his wife adopting me (I was an orphan...a weird, psychic orphan, but the dream ended before I did anything interesting with the psychic bit).

I need better dreams.

Happy holidays!

It bothers me that I've seen at least half of that summary in an actual anime or two, but for the life of me can't remember what one or where the other half may have been seen.
Either that or my subconcious is playing tricks on me.

Though I would still want to watch that. If it had a contiguous story line, rather than a case-of-the-week formulation and the art style was decent.

Why are you so awesome?

And, furthermore, I've been reading your books since Melusine came out. Why did I only just discover that you have a blog now?

Maybe Mildmay and Felix, by invading your dreams, are trying to tell you that there is more of their story to tell? (a girl can hope, no?) :-)

I love it! Though I can't picture Felix in a trenchcoat. Mildmay, however, could wear one -- rumpled, in spite of his ingrained tidiness, sort of like Colombo. :)
