Mirador was the first of your titles to catch my attention although (coughs in embarrassment) I didn't actually start reading them straight away. I was working on a song at the time - 'Le Bachalier de Salamanque', setting by Roussel - which finishes 'Don't you know that [...] the daughter of the Admiral, for whom you are tormenting yourself in vain, is laughing at you from behind her mirador?'
