Auction updates plus other good karma opportunities

1. The [livejournal.com profile] helptheproject auction is still ongoing, and lo, there are many cool things in it.

2. The [livejournal.com profile] fluffybunnyfund auctions & other fundraising efforts were successful! [livejournal.com profile] hominysnark has had the surgery she needs and is recovering. She's still $30,000 or so in the hole, so again I point you to F-Bod Studios, because the world always needs more weird t-shirts in it.

But the important thing is that [livejournal.com profile] hominysnark is alive and healthy instead of dead or permanently disabled, and that is due in part to the generosity of everyone who bid in the auctions here, and especially the people who won. So thank you all. You rule.

3. Also, now that I seem to be over this cold and can talk and breathe at the same time, I'm going to get to work on the podcasts I promised.

4. [livejournal.com profile] con_or_bust is up and rolling again. I feel like I've pretty much saturated the auction market with my books recently--but if I am wrong and you think people would be prepared to bid on ANOTHER copy of one of my books, please say so and I will reconsider.

5. This beautiful kitty is looking for a home within a four-hour radius of Fredricksburg, VA. Is yours that home?

I'd bid on a hardbvack of Corambis, since I need to buy one anyway... and want to support [livejournal.com profile] con_or_bust Can't take the kitty though I would if I could... the Uk is more than 4 hours from her.

Yes!

I would definitely bid again on a copy of Melusine or The Virtu, since my copies are paperback, and incredibly dog-eared!
