I'm not really here

But.

"A Light in Troy" is up at PodCastle. Rated PG for feral children and the winners who write history. It is sponsored by N. K. Jemisin's The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms, sample chapters of which can be found on her website.

Thank you for writing these books.

I know this is entirely the wrong place to place this comment, but I felt a strong need to tell you how much I'm enjoying Melusine. I'm reading only a few pages a day, because I want to make the book and the series last as long as possible. High praise, indeed. :)

Has this been brought to your attention yet? http://www.yousuckatcraigslist.com/?p=4134

It's a blog where they mock funny Craigslist posts; the reason I'm telling you about it is that the blogger managed to cram a plug for your books into a post about something completely unrelated. (They seem not to have quite read the same books that I did--unless they're referring to a detail that I just forgot, which is possible--but still, it was surprising and somewhat cool. Also the site as a whole is funny.)

Yes, I saw that and was amused. (And, no, I don't think I used the concept they're talking about--which is a pity, because it's a neat idea.)
