I am Slacker Chick.

Have not (a.) worked on dis., (b.) made bread, (c.) done laundry, (d.) worked on TSS, (e.) worked on anything else, (f.) taken a shower yet. I've barely even (g.) eaten lunch.

I'm gonna go work on (f.) right now. I think that may help.

Depends on how you feel about guilt.

I have Puritan forebears (at moments like this, I imagine them looking down their noses and calling me "daughter" in censorious tones), so guilt tends to work as a motivator. (That's why I posted my Things Unaccomplished list in the first place.) Took a shower, actually started the bread, so now it's time to get some work done. Ha.

Sorry you're having a stress-inducing day. :(

I am the only person I've ever met to do both Catholic guilt-ethic and Puritan work-ethic guilt. [ This description does not originate with me. ] I have both of them fairly well under control for now, I think, but when they get grumpy they're as likely to make me quail at the mass of stuff to do and go play Civ as they are to make me achieve anything.

My work-related $things_to_fix is a mere 81 items long. My inpile is down below 75. I will be attempting chapter 27 tonight of something which I hope will not exceed 36 chapters. All of these are things I am seeing as achievements rather than burdens, by dint of some effort.
