Dude, it's like pulling teeth.
I think even though I don't mind them as much as I used to, I still get thrown off by rejection letters. Even really nice ones. I can tell myself to shake it off, suck it up and deal, but the fact of the matter is, writing at the moment feels like conveying a pound of uncooked rice from one tupperware container to another, one grain at a time, with chopsticks.
