Midsummer Night, 2010
Jun. 20th, 2010 02:22 pmThis Midsummer Eve is the twelfth anniversary of the wedding of
mirrorthaw and myself. Marrying him continues to be one of the best decisions I ever made.
We are celebrating tonight by going to Fresco, which I was lucky enough to be introduced to by
klages,
elisem, and
nineweaving at Wiscon. I may wear The Boots.
As it happens, today is also Father's Day. I salute those of you who choose to be fathers--and even more important, those of you who choose daily to do the best you can to be good fathers, and I include both my father and my father-in-law in that group.
So if you're celebrating something tonight, whether Midsummer, Father's Day, or some important anniversary of something in your life, I hope it's lovely.
