Hugo & Nebula eligibility

I debated back and forth with myself whether I was going to make a post reminding people about my award-eligible fiction from 2010, but then I realized what a short post it would be, so the hell with it.

I published exactly one thing in 2010: "After the Dragon."

For what my one datapoint is worth, I think authors providing a brief summary of the year's eligible works is a useful courtesy to readers.

I am not a Hugo or a Nebula voter, but if I were, I would appreciate the lists people post; and as a reader I also appreciate them, since my memory is very erratic.

As for your single story, what more does one year need? It's a mercy it's so short. I've never sobbed right through a story from beginning to end before. Kudos to you.

I found your lj because I'd just read After the Dragon and wanted to see what else you'd written.

I came across the story via a recommendation for from somewhere around LJ. I read it, it floored me, and I posted to recommend it to others. After the Dragon is excellent, so I'm glad to see that you've reminded people that it's eligible. :)
