Jan. 17th, 2011 07:44 pmThe Elder Saucepan is doing Very Poorly. He's in the University of Wisconsin's Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital's Critical Care Unit overnight, to get IV fluids and nutrients. Tomorrow, they're going to do an ultrasound and see if they can figure out what's wrong with him. That worst of all words, "mass," has been used.
I hope that this will turn out to be something he can pull through, but I'm also preparing myself for the possibility that we're going to have to say good-bye to him sometime very soon.

Date: 2011-01-18 02:31 am (UTC)The Elder Statescat here has been ignoring her (inoperable, scarily large) mass in her belly for quite a while now. Hopefully Herr Dr. Saucepan will follow her example.

Date: 2011-01-18 10:40 pm (UTC)We just lost our little Ford cat after her latest crisis with her kidney disease. In the end the fluid treatment for the kidney disease caused congestive heart failure.
We have a couple pics up at my LJ

Best wishes to you and Elder Saucepan.
