Project Valkyrie: waterlog

60 minutes, 38 laps.
291 miles, 23 laps.

Again, nobody goes to the pool on Friday night. Especially when the temperature is -1 (F).

I assure you, people do go to the pool on Friday night in at least one place (where, admittedly, the outdoor temperature is mostly above 0°C). These people include the nice lady instructor with the small student in the main pool, and a collection of splashy teenagers at the deep end. I think we will revert to Thursdays, where there is an adults only time.

Ages ago you asked whether princes in England were automatically Duke of York, etc. And I don't know if you even want to know any more, but I recently discovered that the positions are designed to give the princes income independent of the crown, back when princes went to war and needed to outfit crusades and things. Back when the crown (and duchies) made money off of wool, timber, rents/tenant farmers, and etc. Not sure if this is helpful, but I thought the economic derivation of the position might be something you could use.
