So my publicist at Tor asked if she could get a headshot of Katherine Addison for dissemination to Tor.com and C2E2 and the like, and I thought, What the hell. If I'm going to do it, I might as well go all out.

So this is baseline me, as you should imagine me behind pretty much anything I post:

before

And this is Katherine Addison, who turns out to be a steampunk kind of lady:

ka desk 5 sepia

She takes good headshots, too:

ka headshot 1

ka headshot 3

We had fun with the books. And iPhoto is at least less primitive than MS Paint.

I am loving the book so far! Even though they're still on the airship.

This is probably that moment where I mention that there were once airships in a role-playing-by-chat game I was in. The said game came to a screaming-with-laughter halt when the GM accidentally typed "airsheep." Because airsheep.

Then there was airsheep art. I kid you not even a tad.

Nice photos. I just had my own headshots redone because massive haircut. Yours turned out better than mine, though mine were certainly serviceable enough.
