The Goblin Emperor has made it to the semifinals of Goodreads Choice Awards for Best Fantasy. (!!!)

Also, I have turned on the Ask the Author thing on the Author Profile page, so if you want to ask a question about The Goblin Emperor, click and ask, and I'll do my best.

I actually don't have a question, but rather just a quick comment so I figured I'd be better off replying here:

The entire time I was reading The Goblin Emperor I was thinking to myself "oh no oh no am I pronouncing any of these names correctly???" only to reach the end and realize there had been a pronunciation guide all along. So after I finished shaking my fist at the sky, I read the guide and found out I'd been pronouncing everything correctly all along! So a million kudos for making such an intuitive yet still very foreign language.

Well deserved. I've been babbling about it all over the place - it definitely hooked into me.

Not surprised, but very very pleased. :D

Seriously, it's an absolutely delightful book. Thank you for writing it.

It was an awesome book, deep and subtle and it reminded me of myself when I was young, hiding behind my own walls and watching everything and trusting nothing. I like that he was able to fight through and form true bonds with some of the characters. I'm glad the book has taken off the way it has :D
