comments: have hit my first stumbling block, the plot--i.e., there ain't any. The trouble is that I know what I want the story to do on the emotional and psychological levels, but I haven't yet figured out how to trope that into action. Dammit.

I use "trope" as a verb.

And I use "format" with regard to fruit-based desserts. And yet our mutual fondness prevails. As I said yesterday, I find this rather touching. *g*
