[livejournal.com profile] heres_luck rocks the house down. She got me Faith.

MH, who also rocketh utterly and is cleverer with his hands than I, got Faith to hold her crossbow. She's standing on my printer with her crossbow aimed at the door. Darth Vader looks very small and nervous next to her.

What's even better is that the Alien Queen, my pride and joy, is approximately in scale. Now if I could just get her to stay upright in all her Gigerish glory instead of performing elaborate back-flips ... Hey, I'd pay to watch Alien vs. Slayer on Pay-Per-View.

Unlike some people, I can tell the difference between fantasy and reality. *g*

You can't get me Faith for real, 'cause, technically speaking, she doesn't exist. And even if you could somehow get hold of Eliza, and in the even more unlikely event you were willing to share, she'd never fit on top of my printer.

(Just in case: JOKING. I'm totally joking. Neither HL nor I would dream of invading Eliza Dushku's privacy or behaving in scary stalkerish ways. And that's so fucking obvious that this disclaimer wouldn't be here if I didn't have some experience with the way online jokes can get misread. I repeat: JOKING.)

Well, of course. Hence the talking about Faith and not Eliza. And hence the utter impossibility of getting you anything more than an action figure. And hence also the ability for you, me, and renenet to ALL have Faith action figures of our very own.

Yeah. I shouldn't answer posts so early in the morning, especially not after having dreams that were quite murky on the whole character/actor divide. Fucks up my perspective.

Yes, stalking actors in real life (or thinking of action figures as them instead of their characters) is self-evidently squicky, but your dreams can be as whack-job as they like. I imagine the mental transition is fun for you, though--tasty paranoia. Enjoy!
