Help!

Persons living in and/or familiar with Los Angeles:

If someone were to get out of a cab just past the intersection of Hollywood and Vine, on Vine going north:

(a.) can a person actually get out of a cab there?
(b.) what stars would that person be most likely to find themselves standing on in the middle of a very tense discussion? As in It's a good thing you skipped dinner tonight, or there'd be puke all over your shoes and Mortimer's shoes and [blank]'s star.

ETA:The same information for stopping on Vine just south of the intersection with Hollywood would even more greatly be appreciated.

A million million thank yous!

Okay, good. Cab, check.

I'd found that site. Also the Walk of Fame directory (http://www.hollywoodchamber.net/icons/walk_directory.asp), where you can look up any star and find a street address. But, having been unable to find a MAP with STREET NUMBERS on it, I've been having trouble getting things lined up. (Spatial relations and orienteering? SO not my strong point.)

(Also, various sites say that Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins have stars at the intersection of Hollywood and Vine, along with a star for the Apollo 11 mission, and I was kind of wondering where those would be vis a vis a person's peregrinations. (The Directory simply lists them as being at "Hollywood and Vine."))

Have you tried Google Maps? If you enter a street address it'll show you exactly where it is. Very handy. (You might find the satellite view useful to see what the street looks like, too, if you want a better visual feel for the place.)
