It's 3 A.M. I have insomnia. And there is a centipede on the wall of the study--behind me--up by the ceiling where neither the Second Ninja nor I can possibly reach it.

The damn thing is lurking at me.

Well, I just picked up my copy of the Mirador. And while I didn't expect to like Mehitabel portion, I was glad because it provided some relief from the endless angst of Mildmay and Felix. It also provided some insight to Shannon and Stephen.

I have my suspicion as to who else was involved in the murder of one of the central characters but I won't say.

I was actually hoping Felix and Mildmay's relationship would resolve in this book; but I can't wait for the next book. Despite the fact that they're brothers, I can't see Felix 'giving' himself to anyone other than Mildmay or vice versa. Both have significant trust issues that get in the way of 'normal' relationships.

Anyway, I enjoyed Mirador and hope to see the next book out soon.
