I feel this terrible need to be scintillating.
However, in lieu of that, I want to say that
jess79 rocks beyond the ability of mere words to express. Thanks for the LJ code. (And also thanks to
heres_luck for stumping on my behalf.)
I'm still working out what exactly it is I'm going to use this thing for. Starting a journal (paper, electronic, private, public) is one of those liminal moments that begs for melodramatic gestures and rash promises--which are, of course, hideously embarrassing when reread in cold blood. But there are some things I want to articulate for myself about what I'm doing here. When I'm feeling a little less melodramatic, I'll post them.
Watch this space.

Date: 2002-12-19 05:40 am (UTC)It is, I just checked, in my spellchecker in Protext. (Protext, by Arnor. One of the last word processors made in the old North Kingdom before it fell to the Nazgul. You can't get them like that any more.)

Date: 2002-12-20 08:14 am (UTC)They were at Peterborough, IIRC, but if you look at Arnor in the help menu it gives their street address followed by a LOTR page reference.
I've been using Protext since 1985, upgrading betimes, and there's more than one reason for that -- the edges of the spellchecker are only part of it.
